Performer interview: Maeve Gilchrist, harp

Maeve Gilchrist lent her talents on the harp to the recording of the Stylus Symphony: you can particularly see her featured in movement two: “Na Pali.”

Gilchrist was born in Scotland to an Irish mother and Scottish father. She grew up immersed in folk music, and has taken that tradition and a huge amount of talent to become a lauded innovator on the Celtic Harp. Maeve tours regularly with her own original compositions and to teach and perform at festivals.

Maeve spoke to the Stylus Symphony filmmakers about the project, and you can watch the video below!

Remember to follow or subscribe to the Stylus Symphony YouTube, Facebook and Twitter pages to see the newest videos. Movements I and IV are coming soon!
